Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Version 1.0
This Cookie Policy explains how cdnCore, Lda. uses cookies and similar storage technologies on cdncore.eu. It complements our Privacy Policy and is provided under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), Portuguese Law 41/2004, and Brazilian Law 13.709/2018 (LGPD).
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser localStorage and sessionStorage. Together they let a site remember information about your visit, such as your display preference.
2. What we store
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. By default it stores only the strictly-necessary browser entries below; opt-in AtlasEye analytics is described in section 3.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
theme | localStorage | Stores your light / dark display preference so it persists across visits. | Until cleared by you | Strictly necessary |
cdncore-consent | localStorage | Records that you have seen and dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again. | Until cleared by you | Strictly necessary |
3. Analytics
Audience measurement is provided by AtlasEye, our own first-party analytics product self-hosted at app.atlaseye.eu. It is disabled by defaultand is loaded only after you opt in to analytics through the cookie banner. Once enabled it may set a first-party analytics identifier (cookie or localStorage) to measure traffic; it sets no advertising cookies, builds no cross-site profiles or advertising fingerprints, and shares no data with advertising networks. Legal basis: your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 5(3) ePrivacy / Art. 7, I LGPD). You can withdraw consent at any time — see “Your choices” below.
4. Third-party requests
The website may load the following third-party resources:
- Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.com,fonts.gstatic.com) — loads the Cormorant Garamond, Inter, Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono typefaces. No cookies are set; your IP address and User-Agent are transmitted to Google as part of the HTTP request. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in delivering the page. - Spline (
prod.spline.design) — loads the interactive 3D scene used in the hero. It transmits your IP address and User-Agent as part of the request and sets no advertising cookies. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To block Google Fonts you can self-host the fonts or use a browser extension. We are evaluating moving fonts to self-hosted assets to remove the third-party request entirely.
5. Server logs
Our hosting infrastructure records minimal request metadata (IP address, timestamp, requested path, response status, User-Agent) for security — detection of attacks, abuse and operational debugging. IPs are kept for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), expressly recognised in Recital 49 GDPR.
6. Your choices
- Browser controls. All major browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and local storage on a per-site basis.
- Clearing storage. Removing the
themeandcdncore-consententries resets your preference and re-shows the notice on your next visit. - Withdrawing analytics consent. Choosing “Necessary only” in the banner, or clearing the
cdncore-consententry, stops AtlasEye from loading; the banner reappears so you can re-decide. - Effect of refusal. Blocking the strictly-necessary storage only means the site cannot remember your display preference or that you dismissed the notice; content remains fully accessible.
- Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track. If your browser sends a GPC or DNT signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics and AtlasEye is not loaded, even if the accept button is clicked.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when we introduce new technologies. Any non-essential cookie introduced in the future will require your prior, granular, opt-in consent before being placed.
